·Perform various experiments and assays under the supervision of the lab manager and/or other senior staff members at the lab; ·Collect, analyze, and summarize experimental data for case reports, paper publications and/or grant applications. ·Assisting with the purchase and maintenance of the lab equipment as well as the ordering of reagents and suppliers. ·Assisting with manuscript and grant writing and submission. |

·Excellent educational background with a Bachelor degree, Master degree or Doctoral degree in the biomedical or medical sciences, with expertise in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics and genomics, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, laboratory medicine, or related areas. ·Strong interest in translational and clinical research. ·Suitable working experience in biomedical research laboratories. At least 5 years-working experience for the candidates with a bachelor degree; At least two years-working experience for the candidates with a Master degree. ·Familiar with common research techniques, such as cell culture, DNA/RNA extractions, PCR/RT-PCR/ddPCR, DNA/RNA sequencing, microarray, etc. ·Good experimental skills, including trouble shooting skills. ·Good management and leadership skills and enjoy team work. ·Strong organizational and operational skills (ability to coordinate with other groups, prioritize tasks and meeting deadlines). ·Customer service and quality oriented. ·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be fluent in English (written and spoken). ·Good work ethics (responsible and diligent) ·Basic computer application skills, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Preferred qualifications: ·Experience overseeing lab safety and adherence to regulatory guidelines strongly preferred. ·Experience in molecular and/or NGS sequencing assay and process development, validation, implementation and scale-up strongly preferred. |
·Help the Lab Director to oversee the routine operation of the lab while ensuring high data quality, integrity and meeting the deadlines; ·Supervise and coordinate the routine inter and intra lab activities including but not limited to sample processing, process, protocol and instrumentation implementations and optimization, SOP development and validations; ·In charge of the purchase and maintenance of the lab equipment as well as the ordering the reagents and suppliers. ·In charge of the lab safety issues. ·Assisting the training of lab members. ·Assisting with manuscript and grant writing and submission. |

Senior Computational Scientist / Computational Scientist |
·Good educational background with a master (computational scientist) or doctoral degree (senior computational scientist) in bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science and related disciplines. ·Capable to develop scientific research independently. ·Aware of the developments in the field and have innovative ideas and research strategic. ·Experience:whole-genome, whole-exome, RNA sequence analysis skills, single-cell sequencing or microbiome data analysis skills. ·Programming skill:Having proficiency in Linux and in at least one programming language. Familiar with common molecular biology databases and bioinformatics analysis software. ·Having good communication skills in English. |
·Publishing one high-impact international journal papers. ·Performing genomics data analysis. ·Optional:Leading one national research or one provincial research grant. |
